It's a new day...

sorry its been so long since ive posted! i wasn't very active over the weekend, and definitely didn't have the best diet on friday or saturday BUT yesterday was better and i think today was good too!! but im done with Community Health, and Gerontology!!! THE TWO CLASSES I HATED HATED HATED THE MOST!!! lol, not kidding, but i think the one tomorrow wont be too bad, but the one wednesday im kind of nervous about!

But yeah, i dont think i would be even able to run one mile up and down all those hills you're talking about!! CRAAAAAZY!! you're awesome girl! but yeah, maybe doing that 5k think would work even better since you are on SUCH a rough terrain you know? starting slow up and down those hills would DEFINITELY make it SO much easier im guessing!

But yeah, about the vegetarian thing! Ive actually given it some thought myself, but like now, im basically a red-meat vegetarian, like I dont remember the last time i had a real hamburger, i think the VEGGIE burgers are sooooo much better!! lol, but anyways, i can definitely see where you're coming from! I dont think i want to give up my fish or chicken. The oils and vitamins in fish help in SIGNIFICANT ways for losing weight! i just wish i could get more fish here at school, but NOT FOR MUCH LONGER!!

My mom has this cooking light book that we used over spring break, and OH MY WORD, the food is FLIPPING AMAZING!! my dad even was going back for seconds and thirds!! lol, but when you come, we DEFINITELY should make something, i think you would LOVE it!!

I am so so so glad this semester is FINALLY coming to an end. I just dont understand how people can NOT want to graduate because they'll miss college so much, i mean, i know i have a TOTALLY different perspective being in nursing, but STILL, like i dont know, im going to be SOOOOOOO OVERLY ready to be OUT OF HERE!! you know?? like UGH i cannot wait, i still get sad when i see like senior stuff going on at like SNU or here with the senior nursing students, and just thinking that that should be me.....i almost feel like a failure in the fact that im NOT graduating in 4 years.....i dont know, i just struggle with it, but i guess i just need to look at the positives like i'll ONE MORE summer home, and more time with people up here, but i dont know, that just doesn't compare with BEING DONE.....

lol, yeah, i think ive just been really anxious this week or something...i have a BIG test tomorrow that i HAVE to do well on or its bye bye olivet......not kidding, so i think my eating habits have definitely gone down the pot......sad day

school's almost done....

did A LOT better today!

lol, yogurt and an apple for breakfast, sorbet for snack--not too sure if it was sugar free or fat free--but it was for the old folks so im thinking it was, and it kind of tasted like it was--but it wasn't a lot if it wasn't--ANYWAYS, turkey wrap for lunch, apple and baked tostitos for snack, then steak kabobs for dinner! YUUUUUM! does that sound okay to you?? seriously, im kind of playing with what's healthy--i know everything can be in moderation, but i want know what you think!!

EXERCISE: ran 2 miles, walked 2 miles, 4 sets of lunges, 3 sets of pushups....im tarred....lol

im SO excited about school being done, but im getting nervous for FINALS......(sigh)

bad day....

i started out okay, but i just was really tired from this weekend, i think from the lack of sleep, and i did okay up til after dinner, and i just got cravings i think because i was just tired or something, but no EXCUSE!!

sorry!! i didn't run, ANNNDDD and i had quite a few calories......slap my wrist laurie!! :(

NEW WEEK!!

HEY!

okay yeah i already mentioned what I did yesterday exercise wise, but for breakfast I had the oatmeal again, a turkey burger with one slice of the bun and a salad for lunch, and almonds for a snack, then a small chili, and a small baked potato for dinner! then i had my candies for dessert again!!

I LOVE THEM!! lol...

yesterday i spent about 9 hours completing a paper i had to write that was due today. It was a community assessment that i completed over oklahoma city......LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!!! ugghhh, im SO glad that class is almost over, I HATE IT!!!

the weekend!

okay, so yesterday-April 20th, 2007-- was pretty good, i got this new oatmeal that i REALLY like--its the weight control kind by like Quaker or something, but yeah! i ran 2 miles, then walked a mile....i FLIPPING LOST my keyless entry remote--one of them, i have two, but ive been back ALL weekend looking for it....im SO mad, i still haven't found it....

ANYWAYS, yesterday oatmeal for breakfast, apple for snack, low carb wrap from subway for lunch, baked doritos for snack, LEAN CUISINE sandwich for dinner, SOOOOOOOO GOOD!! i DEFINITELY recommend them!! then ONE taco that i was kind of forced to eat at this party for a family friend, but it was the crispy kind with just meat, salsa and lettuce! so it was good, but then a little later i had just 3 little peanut butter candies, not the reese's chocolate or anything, they're just candy looking things, but they're only 1.5g of fat for 3 of them and 80 calories, so that definitely fixed my sweet craving!

Im finding out that it really doesn't take much to satisfy my sweet cravings. I think the longer i go without anything that "counts" as sweets the MORE i want it, and the MORE i binge on them later.....you know??

but THANK YOU SO MUCH LAURIE for getting on my back! i need to make this a routine from now on! i think it's REALLY helping!!

TODAY--April 21st, 2007--already ran 1 mile, and walked 2 miles, did 4 sets of lunges, and 3 sets of pushups, with a little ball/crunch action afterwards.....lol, hopefully i can eat good today!! ;)

What was i Thinking??

Okay so my goals for this summer/year...

1). Eat right
2). Lose Weight
3). Start running longer distances--3-4 miles
4) SWIM
4). Make $$
5). get a TAN
6). buy new and CUTE CLOTHES!
7). have FUN!

okay, so yeah that's a lot to accomplish, but if i just take one at a time, its possible!! right??

well this week's been SO crazy with eating habits and the like. I've just got back into running again, after trying my taebo videos the past two weeks, i really just want to get back into running because I want the endurance, I want the lean body, and i want the ability to SAY--hek yeah i just ran 4miles!! Basically i want to get back to where I once was...it might take a while, but hey gotta start somewhere, and I am SO GLAD im not doing it alone!!

TODAY!!

i ate well today! not too bad!! i had weight control oatmeal for breakfast, an apple for a snack before lunch, lean cuisine for lunch, low fat nachos with salsa for dinner, and animal crackers for DESSERT!! does that sound okay?? i think monday im going to try and eat less carbs like maybe eggs or something for breakfast, and try and see if i can get more salads for lunch and dinner!

EXERCISE: ran 2 miles, walked 1 mile
while running the 2 miles---lost one of my keyless entry remotes to my car..... :( i am SO FLIPPING MAD AT MYSELF....

im hoping to run this weekend too! i will keep you posted!!
